Pepperoni Dip and Tips

Pepperoni Meat

Pepperoni is an American salami with some added spices. It is made from beef and pork. Paprika, black pepper, garlic, crushed red pepper, fennel seed, and mustard seed are the most common spices in Pepperoni. But Paprika is always present since it gives it its color.
After reaching the proper fat-to-meat ratio in meat, it must add some lactic acid bacteria, and then smoked, dried, and it is ready.

While pork is used as pepperoni base meat, it is not halal. If you are looking for halal pepperoni, choose 100% beef or turkey, lamb or chicken pepperoni. Also, you may find a Muslim butcher to be sure that your pepperoni is halal.

Pepperoni in freezer

After preparing your pepperoni, you can keep it in the fridge for like six weeks. You can put it into a container after you slice it or wrap it in plastic as a stick; you can also use freezer bags. You also can save it in your freezer for up to 8 months, so you can use it whenever you need it!
You should keep it away from light, heat, and oxygen so it won't spoil.

Due to its nutrition table, you can figure out that pepperoni is a meat full of saturated fat and sodium, and protein can also be found. Still, it needs to supply the best essential nutrition to your body. Then you can eat it but only a little to save calories for better foods.
